It was so great to get out of the cold and into the sun. I'm finding it difficult now to move about in the snow and slush as I try not to slip with my walker, so now I only feel comfortable going out if there hasn't been a snowstorm. Needless to say, I had no worries in Antigua! It was definitely not as hot & humid as September which Travis loved. Travis carried me in & out of the ocean every day. It was such a joy to float in the ocean as I feel like I have a normal physical body as I am being supported by the saltwater. We had so much fun with the staff and the food was amazing, Travis was very happy to have a break from cooking.
We had a great visit with Don who came for a night and a day, and was able to visit the resort with a guest pass, so special to spend time with him.

Thanks to everyone who supported us to make this dream a reality and special thanks to Jeannie for taking such good care of our fur babies!
Now, I am looking forward to catching up with friends, continuing to advocate to find treatment and a cure for ALS, and a visit with my cousin Chelsea.
